Terrorismo, cine y novela en la España del S. XXI
Abstract
Opinion polls performed by the Spanish Center for Sociological Research have considered that ETA terrorism was one of the most serious problems faced by Spanish society since the early sixties, with a special emphasis during the eighties. However, in spite of the importance of terrorism, Spanish cinema has not reflected it in as many movies as it would have been expected. This article offers an analysis of Spanish cinema in relation to ETA terrorism and its motivations to sidestep the issue while conducting a historical and critical journey through the main titles dealing with the subject.
