Abstract

To understand the relationship that public discourse maintains with power and the articulation of the ideological domain: such is the goal of the present project, which deals, more specifically, with the modes of political communication in the Valencian Parliament when the Gürtel scandal first came out in the open, implicating high political officers of the Regional Government. The aim of this paper is to examine the communication strategies that were used in such specific place and time and how they were transferred to the main media discourse.
