Pierre Beck

Biography

Pierre Beck was trained as an Earth scientist and obtained is PhD in 2005 at ENS Lyon, during which he worked on the petrogenesis of Martian meteorites. He then moved to Washington (DC) at the geophysical laboratory, where he studied the mechanisms of heat transport in the deep interior of planets. Since 2007 he is working as assistant professor at Université Joseph Fourier. Since then, his work is focused on the optical properties of meteorites and their relation to small Solar System bodies.
