Biography
Olivier Grasset became a geology engineer at Nancy (France) in 1991, and in 1994 he obtained his PhD on the internal structure of Titan, moon of Saturn, in Orsay (France). He is a professor at the University of Nantes (France), where he has lead the Laboratoire de Planétologie et Géodynamique since 2012. His research interests include: (i) Internal structure and evolution of Jupiter's moons and super-Earth type exoplanets. (ii) High-pressure and low-temperature experiments on icy astromaterial (iii) Scientific expertise at ESA within the context of the preparation of the mission JUICE.
