Nicolas Levrat

Biography

Nicolas Levrat is Full Professor of European Law at the University of Geneva and Head of the Global Studies Institute. He also teaches at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is a regular guest lecturer at different Universities in Belgium, Canada, France and Hungary. His research interests focus on European institutions, legal issues of federalism and the structure of legal order in an intergrated Europe. He has authored, among other texts, «Le métissage des ordres juridiques européens (une théorie impure de l’ordre juridique)» (in collaboration with Ioana Raducu, Cahiers de Droit Européen, 2007) and L’Europe et ses collectivités territoriales. Réflexions sur l’organisation et l’exercice du pouvoir territorial dans un monde globalisé (Bruxelles, Peter Lang, 2005). Contact: nicolas.levrat@unige.ch
