María Magdalena Figueredo Corradi (Uruguay), Historian, graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences, University of the Republic; she holds a Master’s Degree in Contemporary History from the General Sarmiento National University (UNGS), Argentina. Since 2005 her research and teaching have developed in the field of Human Rights, and are linked to the investigation of the serious violations of human rights committed by the Uruguayan State in the years 1968-1985. She continues to work as a member of the Historical Research Team of the Human Rights Secretariat for the Recent Past (SDDHHPR).
