Jesús González Requena

Biography

Jesús González Requena is Professor of Audiovisual Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid; he holds a degree in Psychology from the same university. As an essayist and writer, he has developed a method of textual reading by incorporating the contributions of poststructuralism, semiotics, linguistics, psychoanalysis and cultural anthropology, which he applies to the analysis of texts, especially cinematographic ones.
