Biography
Inés Sevilla Llisterri is a lecturer at the International University of La Rioja, where she has imparted classes in the speciality of Language and Literature Didactics and in Musical Research. She holds a degree in Hispanic Philology and a Diploma in Piano, and obtained an international PhD with the highest qualification in Interdisciplinary Communication at the University of Valencia and in Musique, Histoire et Société at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. Her main line of research focuses on the relationship between music, literature and politics, mainly from the Hispanic perspective, with special emphasis on the presence of nationalism in literary reception through Spanish music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She has studied the figure of the pianist Amparo Iturbi, whose work had not been researched from a theoretical perspective until 2019.
