Biography

Francisco Silvera holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Seville and a PhD from the University of Valladolid. A contributor to the press and writer, he has been editor of JRJ and has published on his concept of «Work»: Copérnico y Juan Ramón Jiménez. Crisis de un paradigma, El materialismo de Juan Ramón Jiménez, JRJ en el AHN: Vol 2. Monumento de amor, Ornato y Ellos, Poesía no escrita. Índices de Obras de JRJ with professor Javier Blasco and Obra y Edición en JRJ. He has also edited the poetry of Antonio Carvajal in Alzar la vida en vuelo. As a narrator he is the author of, among other titles, Las apoteosis, Libro de las taxidermias, Libro de los humores, Libro del ensoñamiento, Álbum blanco, Tenebrario, La Gloria del Mundo, El mar de octubre, La tristeza del mundo o Los Camaleones (Memoria punk), and the essay La vida de la Cultura o Contra la cultedad.
