Enrique Bordes Cabrera holds a PhD in architecture and is a lecturer at ETSAM, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His professional interests center on museography, publishing and curatorial work, with a special focus on photographic narrative in architecture and the urban space. In 2017 he published his doctoral thesis Cómic, arquitectura narrativa, which served as the basis for the exhibition Beatos, mecachis y percebes, miles de años de tebeos en la Biblioteca Nacional (2018). In 2019, together with Luis de Sobrón, he presented the map Madrid Bombardeado 1936-1939, a visual narration and remembering of the first modern bombing in history, turned into a book in 2021.
