Biography

Coline Ferrant is an Associate Fellow at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research and a student in the Dual PhD program in Sociology between Northwestern University and Sciences Po. She completed a M.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Politics, both at Sciences Po. She has held research assistant positions at the Food and Social Sciences Lab of the French National Institute for Agricultural Research, the Center for Sociological Studies of El Colegio de México, and the Scientific and Technical Information Direction of the French National Center for Scientific Research. Her dissertation is titled «Global Food, Local Life: Food and the Logics of Daily Practice in Chicago and Paris Neighborhoods».
