Biography
Clara Inés Pérez is a teacher and researcher in the Master’s Degree in Peace, Development and Citizenship at UNIMINUTO University (Colombia) where she coordinates the course on Biodevelopment. She is also a professor in the Master’s Degree on Interdisciplinary Social Research at the Francisco José de Caldas District University, a program in which she obtained her Master’s Degree. She works as a pedagogical advisor for the Doctorate in Social Studies (DES) at the same University. She worked as advisor for the General Directorate of Education and District Colleges of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá (Colombia) from 2013 to 2015. Her research interests currently revolve around the problems of political culture and the pedagogies of participation of young people in large Colombian cities. She is co-author of the books: Construcción de territorios de paz: Subjetivaciones, resistencias ciudadanas y pedagogías para la Noviolencia, Pensamiento crítico y sociedades en movimiento and Repensar las ciudades latinoamericanas como emergencia de territorialidades para la vida.
