Biography
Ainhoa Fernández de Arroyabe (Iruña, Navarra, 1971) is associate professor at the School of Social and Communication Sciences, University of the Basque Country, where she is member of MAC (Contemporary Audiovisual Mutations Research Group). Her research focuses on visual studies: history of cinema, aesthetics, and audiovisual and film form analysis. She has authored several book chapters and articles in specialized journals and co-authored, with Carmen Peñafiel and Nereida López, La transición de la televisión digital en España. Tecnología, contenidos y estrategias (Barcelona, Bosch, 2005) and Cortometrajes de Kimuak. Semillas del cine vasco (Salamanca, Comunicación social, 2014) with Nekane E. Zubiaur Gorozika and Iñaki Lazkano.
