Xiomara Moreno is Head of the Department of the School of Arts, Coordinator of the Master in Latin American Theater and of the Section of Arts in the Doctoral Program in Human Sciences of the Central University of Venezuela. She is a playwright whose work has been published in Antología de Teatro Clásico Venezolano (2016) and has authored Arte, cultura e historia. Cinco Artículos (Universidad Central de Venezuela, 2014), Obras Completas 1982-2012 (Fundarte, 2013), Ollantay (USA, 2011), Antología de Teatro Latinoamericano (Instituto de Teatro Argentino, 2006), Casa de las Américas (Madrid, 2005), ADE Teatro (Madrid, 2001) and in Casa de América (La Habana, 2000). She has also been a television screenwriter.
